Our Beautiful World

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like. WILL ROGERS

We are so busy looking for things to make our lives ‘complete’ that sometimes we miss the beauty which surrounds us.

There is a lot on our to-do list. We worry too much-- does the act of worrying solve any problems?—that we become blind to our beautiful world.

When was the last time you reveled in the beauty of nature? Take a moment to look around you and appreciate our beautiful world.

Why do we notice the dark clouds in the distant but…

...not the bluest sky overhead?

Why do we fail to notice the majesty of a tree?

...or admire plants in bloom?

The scent of new-mown grass, of brewing coffee; the sound of a baby’s laughter; a lover’s touch… are all simple pleasures.

Life would be less difficult if we don’t have to impress other people, don’t you think?
Take time to smell the roses!
